Terms of Use

Effective date: October 21, 2026

By downloading or using MintQuest: AI Card Grader (“the app”), provided by Junhyeong Kim (“we”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Apple standard EULA

If you use the app on iOS, your use is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. If these terms conflict with it for iOS use, the Apple EULA prevails on those points.

2. The service

MintQuest uses AI to estimate a card’s condition from photos, including a 1–10 grade, subgrades (centering, corners, edges, surface), defects, card identification and a “worth grading?” verdict. A subscription is required to use the app.

3. Estimates, not guarantees

All grades and verdicts are AI-generated estimates for entertainment and informational purposes. They are not official grades and are not guaranteed to match, predict, or influence the result from any professional grading company. Photo quality, lighting and AI limitations affect accuracy. Card identification may be wrong. Do not rely on the app alone for purchases, sales, insurance, or grading submissions; you are responsible for your own decisions.

4. Subscriptions

5. Your photos and consent

You may only upload photos you have the right to use. The app asks for your consent before sending photos to the AI. See the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app: no reverse engineering, abusing or overloading the service, bypassing the paywall, uploading unlawful content, or presenting the app’s estimates as official grades to deceive buyers or others.

7. No affiliation and trademarks

MintQuest is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by PSA, BGS/Beckett, CGC, SGC or any other grading company, The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Wizards of the Coast, Konami, Bandai, or any sports league. All product names, trademarks and card names belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility. “Professor Hoot” is an original character.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its design and content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app. You keep ownership of your photos.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or card value arising from your use of the app or reliance on its estimates. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

11. Termination and changes

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access for violations of these terms. We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be subject to the courts of the Republic of Korea, except where mandatory consumer law in your country gives you other rights.
